About Us

ClarksburgMarijuana.clinic — WV Medical Cannabis for the Eastern Panhandle Gateway

Built for Clarksburg

Clarksburg is West Virginia's fastest-growing city — a community of more than 20,000 residents in the Eastern Panhandle, a historic gateway city along the Potomac River corridor, home to a large and growing commuter population that works across the Potomac in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia metro area while calling West Virginia home. ClarksburgMarijuana.clinic is an online directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting Clarksburg residents with OMC-registered physicians for medical cannabis certifications under the West Virginia Medical Cannabis Act.

We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy. We connect patients with qualified physicians and guide them through West Virginia's certification and MyComplia registration process — from Downtown Clarksburg and Spring Mills to Hedgesville Road and every part of the Eastern Panhandle.

How We Operate

OMC-Registered Physicians

Every physician on our platform holds an active West Virginia medical license, has completed the mandatory four-hour OMC physician education course, and is registered with the Office of Medical Cannabis — the credentials required under WV law to certify patients.

HIPAA Protected

All telehealth appointments are conducted on HIPAA-compliant platforms. Clarksburg patients' health information is handled with complete confidentiality throughout the certification and registration process.

OMC-Compliant

Every certification follows OMC requirements. The physician submits the Patient Certification directly to OMC. Patients then register and pay the $50 annual fee directly through MyComplia.

How West Virginia's Program Works

West Virginia's Medical Cannabis Program, established by the Medical Cannabis Act (SB 386, April 19, 2017) and administered by the Office of Medical Cannabis (OMC), allows qualifying WV residents to access cannabis in specific forms at licensed dispensaries statewide. A Clarksburg patient books a real-time video visit with an OMC-registered physician. The physician evaluates the patient's condition against the 15 qualifying serious medical conditions and, if appropriate, submits the Patient Certification form directly to OMC. The patient then registers at wv-public.mycomplia.com, uploads required documents, and pays the $50 annual OMC fee. OMC reviews within 30 days. Upon approval, the digital card is downloaded from MyComplia.

Authorized Forms of Cannabis in West Virginia

West Virginia law authorizes cannabis in specific forms only: pills, oils, topical preparations (gels, creams, ointments), forms appropriate for vaporization or nebulization (including dry leaf or plant form for vaporization — not smoking), tinctures, liquids, and dermal patches. Smoking is not authorized. This is an important distinction for Clarksburg patients to understand before visiting a licensed dispensary. Your licensed dispensary will guide you on what forms are available at their location.
